Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
Orbital Odyssey ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use the Orbital Odyssey mobile application.
1. Data Collection and Third-Party Services
We do not collect personal information such as your name, address, or phone number directly. However, we utilize industry-standard third-party services for analytics, crash diagnostics, and advertising. Our application utilizes Unity LevelPlay to mediate ads across multiple certified advertising networks. These services may collect technical device identifiers and telemetry as described in their respective privacy policies below:
- Unity LevelPlay (ironSource): Acts as our primary ad mediation platform to coordinate ad delivery, prevent fraud, and manage frequency capping. Collects device identifiers (IDFA/AAID), IP address, and device metadata. ironSource Mobile Privacy Policy / Unity Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob: Serves advertisements and collects device identifiers (IDFA/AAID), approximate location, and diagnostic telemetry. Google Privacy Policy
- Unity Ads: Serves video and interstitial advertisements, collecting device identifiers, game session telemetry, and hardware specifications. Unity Ads Privacy Policy
- Meta Audience Network: Serves contextual or personalized advertisements using device identifiers and network parameters. Meta Privacy Policy
- Liftoff Monetize (Vungle): Serves interactive and video advertisements, processing device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction metrics. Liftoff Privacy Policy
- Firebase Analytics: Tracks anonymized gameplay behavior (levels completed, time spent) to help us improve game balance and design. Firebase Privacy Policy
- Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymized crash logs and device performance specifications to help us resolve crashes and stability issues. Firebase Privacy Policy
- Payment Processors: All in-app purchases are processed securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive or store your financial or payment details.
2. Advertising and User Privacy Choices
We believe in transparent user choice regarding advertisements:
- Apple iOS Devices: We respect Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If tracking permission is requested, advertising identifiers (IDFA) are only accessed with your explicit consent. If permission is not granted or not requested, our mediation stack serves non-personalized, contextual advertisements.
- Android Devices: The application may request Google Play Services Advertising ID (AAID) for ad serving, frequency capping, and fraud prevention. You can manage or reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time via your device's Settings > Google > Ads.
- Ad-Free Option: Players can permanently remove non-optional advertisements by purchasing the "Remove Ads" or "Supporter Pack" options available in the in-game Shop.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process technical and usage data based on your Consent (obtained through platform permission prompts and device privacy settings) and our Legitimate Interest in maintaining a stable, secure, and commercially viable gaming experience.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Orbital Odyssey is designed for general audiences and is rated for users aged 4 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Third-party advertising mediation is configured to comply with child privacy regulations, including COPPA.
5. Your Rights (India DPDPA, GDPR, & CCPA)
Regardless of your geographic location, we provide high standards of data privacy. You have the right to:
- Access & Inquiries: Inquire about any diagnostic or telemetry data associated with your device.
- Erasure: Request the deletion of any identifiable telemetry records.
- Withdraw Consent / Opt Out: You can reset or restrict your advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID) and disable personalized ads at any time via your operating system settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain anonymized usage and crash data for a period of up to 14 months to monitor long-term game performance and player retention trends.
